Janaye Matthews and Jaila Coleman, MPH students from the University of Chicago’s Center for Excellence in MCH, are co-authors for MCH Leads's April feature. In their blog entry, titled “How Interconnectedness and Honoring Lived Experiences Inspired Our MCH Work,” Janaye and Jaila apply MCH Competency 7 (Creating Responsive and Effective MCH Systems) and Competency 10 (Interdisciplinary/Interprofessional Team Building) to their MCH research.
