  • Learning Lab Series: Storytelling Part 1 with Dick Krueger September 19, 2024  11:00 am - 1:00 pm

    In our first session, we examine the benefits of stories, outline the characteristics of effective stories, and discuss how stories can be used by those working in public health. Stories represent an extraordinary way of communicating important, credible messages and motivating clients. At the end of the first session, participants are encouraged to develop their own story on a designated theme in public health.

  • Learning Lab Series: Storytelling Part 2 with Dick Krueger October 31, 2024  11:00 am - 1:00 pm

    In the second session, participants are invited to share their stories on the designated themes. Five $50 prizes will be raffled to randomly selected presenters! Stories must be submitted in advance, read aloud by the presenter in 4 minutes or less, and relate to one of
    the identified public health themes. An instruction sheet for preparing your story is available from Dr. Richard Krueger at rkrueger@umn.edu. Join the group and share your story or just join to listen and enjoy the stories of others in public health!
