During an Applied Experience (APEX) at the Minnesota Department of Health, Diana examined determinants of sexual and reproductive health services access, including grant funding to local organizations in Greater Minnesota.

Katie reflects on her deployment, where she helped increase awareness of community resources and improve understanding of their pediatric patient population. By developing needs assessments, creating newsletters, and highlighting resources, she worked to improve overall patient well-being.
