I’m currently a member of the IL Domestic Violence Fatality Review Committee (not research, per se), and I’m interested in the intersection between women’s experiences with GBV/DV and how they get involved with the justice system.

“My research passion centers on gender-based violence. I’m currently a member of the IL Domestic Violence Fatality Review Committee (not research, per se), and I’m interested in the intersection between women’s experiences with GBV/DV and how they get involved with the justice system. As a public health practitioner in a former life, I worked with DV advocates who worked with justice involved women.”

What research-practice collaborations are you the most excited to work on?

“I’m particularly interested in working with colleagues who would like to integrate a GBV perspective into the work they do.”
