The Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) Program was founded as a solution to help improve maternal outcomes across the US. AIM is a national data-driven quality improvement initiative based on proven approaches to improving maternal safety.
The AIM eModules have been designed to be interactive and collaborative. There’s an introduction to the eModules, as well as topical modules including: Maternal Early Warning System (MEWS), Obstetric Hemorrhage, Severe Hypertension in Pregnancy, and Safe Reduction of Primary Cesarean Sections | Support for Intended Vaginal Births.
Upcoming AIM eModules will focus on the implementation of the ‘4 R’ domains: Readiness, Recognition, Response, and Reporting of each maternal safety bundle.
AIM is an open access program, funded through a cooperative agreement the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB)-Health Resource Services Administration.
